Easter

"He isn't here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying." Matthew 28:6

"But God released him from the horrors of death and raised him back to life, for death could not keep him in its grip." Acts 2:24 

"And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him. We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. When he died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God." Romans 6:8-10

"...Christ's love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them...This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!" 2 Corinthians 5:14-15,17
